Good for short range

Don't expect to be anywhere near accurate at long range, but for anything less than 10 meters, you should be good to go.

Gimmicky compass

Slingshot works pretty well but not sure why they had to tack on compass. It serves no function at all and appears to be stuck half the time!

yesss. Job done. Brilliant slingshot

Ordered two for my two lads. Needless to say they loved them. Suggest wearing gloves!

wrist brace is awesome!!

I'd only used basic slingshots in the past, but the arm brace make a big difference - you can pull it further and the grip is still stable.

bands are inconsistent

After reading some of the reviews here criticizing the rubbers I decided to order 3 to be on the safe side - one looked to pretty old and fairly dried out. The other two were OK.

Unbiased review! Great little unit

i've ordered a few slingshots in the past from Hammer - so full disclosure that they did send me a free V-series in return for a fair review. This slingshot is the perfect balance in terms of price vs. fun factor. Cheaper slingshots tend not to last, whereas the more expensive ones are overkill. The v series is well made, and at a decent price point.

Safety could be an issue.

The ball bearings that hold the rubber in place look like they could pop out an anytime.... Suggest wearing safety glasses.

Decent amatuer slingshot

Price is good for what you are getting - mine came with a free set of ball bearings which was a nice surprise.

good slingshot for the money

Seller included a free bag of ball bearings.

good deal for a cheap catapult

Had one of these when I was growing up, so figured why not. Not really sure if it's actually made from metal or some plastic/metal mix... let's see how it goes.
